Northeast Jan 2013: Well Well...the trip just BEGAN!!

Sejam todos bem vindos a nossa tão esperada viagem para o NORDESTE do Brasil de Janeiro 2013!! Escrevo agora do nosso hotel em Belo Horizonte e a viagem já começou!

Ontem todos os 99 intercambistas chegaram de diversos lugares do Brasil e tenho que dizer uma coisa: se em Dezembro já achei que tinha muita gente, imagina agora...!!!! Hoje pela manhã os jovens fizeram os exames médicos e depois do almoço tivemos nossa Orientação Geral da Viagem, quando passamos dicas de como cuidar bem da saúde, como economizar dinheiro, como aproveitar melhor a viagem e claro, relembrar as regras do Rotary!

Agora à noite tivemos uma agitada aula de forró e funk, e todos dançaram muito!

Good Evening!!!

Welcome to the soooo expected NORTHEAST JANUARY 2013 TRIP! I am writing from our hotel in Belo Horizonte, and our trip has already started!

Yesterday the 99 students + 2 chaperones arrived from all over Brazil here in Belo Horizonte and again I gotta tell you again: If I thought that in December we had many students, now …OMG…THERE ARE A LOT OF PLEOPLE over here!

Today morning the students attended the medical exams and in the afternoon we had the general Orientation of the trip. At the Orientation we gave them tips of how to take care of their health (LOOOTS of sunscreen and LOOOTS of water), how to save money, how to enjoy the trip and we remembered again the Rotary/trip rules.

Tonight we attended a Forró and Funk class! They were all very excited!
