Northeast Jan 2013: Maceió - Paraíso das Águas!! / Water´s Paradise!!

Boa Noite!!

Escrevo diretamente de Maceió, a primeira praia que visitamos na viagem do Nordeste! Ainda temos muita coisa pela frente!

Os dias que passamos aqui foram deliciosos! Chegamos aqui na segunda-feira, depois de um dia inteiro na estrada!

Ontem passamos o dia inteiro na lindíssima praia de Pajuçara, com suas aguas lindas com um tom azul esverdeado! Fizemos o passeio de jangada até as Piscinas Naturais de lá: é muito interessante, pois ficamos em pé no “meio do mar” e podemos inclusive tomar refrigerante, agua de coco ou agua, pois lá tem barcos “restaurante” que vendem inclusive comida, para quem quer desfrutar mais tempo lá! A noite, após um delicioso jantar, nos divertimos e dançamos MUITO em uma casa de forró!!

Hoje pela manhã, acordamos cedo e seguimos até a Barra de São Miguel, onde pegamos um barco e atravessamos para a MARAVILHOSA praia do Gunga, uma das mais lindas de todo o Nordeste e uma das mais apreciadas pelos intercambistas. Após muita dança e diversão no barco escutando o CD da viagem, chegamos e ficamos lá por mais de 4 horas: todos nadaram e aproveitaram bastante! Fomos depois para a Feirinha do Pontal, com um belo artesanato, e rendas.

Amanhã cedo vamos sair para Natal, capital do Rio Grande do Norte. De lá mando mais notícias.

Good Evening!!

I write now from Maceió, first beach of the trip!! We still have many things to see and visit at this trip!

The days we spent here were delicious! We arrived here on Monday, after the whole day on the road!

Yesterday spent the day at Pajuçara beach: it is a really beautiful beach, and the water is blue and green! There we took some sailormen’s boats and went to visit the Natural pools! At night, after a delicious dinner, we danced a LOT and had a lot of fun at a “forró house”, really common at the region!

Yesterday morning, we woke up early and went to Barra de São Miguel where we took a boat to cross to Gunga Beach, one of the most PERFECT of the Northeast. After a lot of dance and fun at the boat (listening to the CD with many songs that we made for this trip) we arrived and stayed there for more than four hours: the students swam and enjoyed a lot! After, we went to get to know the Pontal Fair, famous for its beautiful handicraft.
